Grant Editor Application (Instagram Post (Square)) (2).png

Metro Arts is recruiting Operating Grant and Thrive Award review panelists for the Fiscal Year 2025 (July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025) funding cycle! Application open February 12-25.

A vital part of the artist and organization funding process is review by grant panels. This is when grant applications are studied and scored, and the recommendations based on those scores are sent to the Metro Arts Commission for funding consideration.

Grant review panels are comprised of Davidson County residents from a diversity of backgrounds, perspectives, artistic genres, and organizations. We are looking for 4-8 community members to apply to be part of this critical process with us!

The panel process includes:

  • Virtual training on March 1st Friday, 11AM-1PM CST.

  • Independent review of applications: March 1 – March 14, 2023

  • One Virtual panel meeting (10A-5P Hold) on: March 25, 26, 27, and 28 dependent upon availability and expertise.*

*Panelists will attend only one of these dates; please indicate your availability and expertise on the application form. Each panelist would serve approximately 12 hours total. Panelists will be paid a stipend of $500.

We strive to provide individuals with disabilities and all community members with equitable access to Metro Arts opportunities. To request accommodations, please complete this form. You may also contact Christiana Afotey at 615-862-6721, TTY Relay Service 800-848-0298.
