Old Hickory Public Art: Community Engagement Sessions

You're invited! Metro Arts is hosting community engagement sessions with artist Gordon Huether. Earlier this year, a community selection panel selected Huether to develop and install a suspended public artwork in the new Old Hickory Community Center.  Read more about the artist here!

Join us in October and share what you love about Old Hickory, its community, and what makes it special! Metro Arts will be hosting two community engagement sessions:

  • Tuesday October 10th at the Old Hickory Public Library (1010 Jones St, Old Hickory)

  • Wednesday 11th at Rhythm in the Village (1053 Donelson Ave, Old Hickory).

Come and learn about Gordon Huether’s art experience and methods for creating public art. Refreshments will be provided, and gift bags will be given to attendees who RSVP in advance.
